Speaking as a 2nd generation Korean that finds many of his cultural quirks hilarious I can try to explain this, though, while doing so, I will need to take short breaks in order to take heaving breaths through my bouts of laughter:
The knee holding, one legged hopping thing that you see here is culturally pervasive children's game. Think of it as a way of "dueling it out" without anyone getting hurt. The first person to fall looses. Its like a 1 v 1 chicken fight.
So when the baseball player who was hit took up his leg it was immediately recognized by the faulty pitcher that he was intending to "play fight" to resolve the issue and was also immediately taken up as a serious faced joke by the remainder of the teams to themselves and the audience.

In an american context it would be the same as if the batter ran up to the pitcher with a foam bat or pillow and the pitcher grabbed one and they started going at it soon to be joined by their team mates. Funny. But to some other Non-western cultures would look absolutely ridiculous.

Yawn. It was a softball throw. Choreographed in hopes that idiots will feature it on their website.

At least they know their audience.

You sure this wasn't some staged comedy. The Asians aren't normal like we are and what they think is funny is different.
