Jose Canseco Trying to Comeback

No you didn’t misread the title to this post. I am dead serious. Apparently 47 year old Jose Canseco is trying to make a comeback to the Major Leagues. His first choices are the Boston Red Sox or his former team the Oakland Athletics. Canseco has been spewing constantly on twitter the past 24 hours about making his comeback and how his swing is in peak form. He has apparently been blasting the ball at the Vegas On Deck Academy for practice.

Sure Canseco was a 350 hitter with a 1 in 9 hr per at bat average over his career, but he was also a steroid junkie, fame hour, and all around terrible teammate during his career.

Should he get his shot at a tryout? Or is this just another attempt by Canseco to make headlines?

Hey wants to come back to write another tell all book. No one on his team would want him in the clubhouse because he might rat them out for things they do. Canseco is bad for baseball.

@Chris, Yeah it has to be some sort of publicity stunt. No way he can still bomb it the same now at 47. Plus even if he could he would be a piraya in the locker room. No one would wnat anything they said in the next book, you’re right.
