Yes, two Phillies players have been traded to two different NL West teams in the same day. Hunter Pence was just traded to the Giants, and now Shane Victorino has been traded to the Dodgers. The Dodgers acquired Victorino in exchange for reliever Josh Lindblom and minor league pitcher Ethan Martin.
Victorino is batting .261 this year, which is alright, but he has stolen 24 bases. As I said earlier in the Hunter Pence post, Philadelphia’s bats have struggled without Ryan Howard and Chase Utley in the lineup.
