Felix Hernandez Just Threw A Perfect Game Against The Rays

Long live King Felix! Felix Hernandez just capped off a 1-0 Mariners win over the Rays with a perfect game. The perfect game is the 23rd in major league history. Hernandez struck out the side in the 8th inning and two more in the 9th to seal the deal. It’s the first perfect game in Mariners history and the third one of the season.

It’s also the first time in baseball history that a team has thrown a perfect game and had a perfect game thrown against them in the same season.
