Baltimore Orioles RHP Steve Johnson picked up his first MLB win last night. He went six innings, struck out nine, and gave up two runs en route to a 9-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners. Impressive, eh? But what’s even more impressive is that last night was the 23rd anniversary of Steve’s father Dave getting his first MLB win, which was also with the Orioles.
Dave’s first MLB win came against the Minnesota Twins. He went all nine innings that night and gave up only one run.
