Former Cy Young winner Eric Gagne’s biography is supposed to hit store shelves soon. But even though it hasn’t been released to the general public yet, there’s already a miniscule part of the book that has been released, most likely because it has to do with doping. Yep, Gagne claims that quite a bit of his teammates during his tenure with the Dodgers used PEDs.
Here’s the excerpt from the French-language book, titled “Game Over: The Story of Eric Gagne”:
“I was intimately aware of the clubhouse in which I lived. I would say that 80 percent of the Dodgers players were consuming [the PEDs].”
Also in the book, Gagne writes a little bit about admitting he used HGH in the past, saying that “it was sufficient to ruin my health, tarnish my reputation and throw a shadow over the extraordinary performances of my career.”
