Josh Hamilton had some strange vision issues last week which have kept him from playing since Tuesday. Although he’s back in the lineup tonight, we’re all curious why he missed almost a week because of vision issues. Here’s your answer:
Rangers officials said that Hamilton saw an optometrist and was diagnosed with ocular keratitis, a drying of the cornea caused by too much caffeine and energy drinks. The team reported that Hamilton feels better.
