Sources originally told Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports that Terry Francona would be the new manager of the Indians. The club is expected to make an announcement of the hiring on Monday even though they have already confirmed the news via their Twitter account.
Francona’s record over 12 seasons of managing comes in at 1,029-915. He led the Red Sox to World Series titles in 2004 and 2007.
