With that signing, Greinke is now the highest paid pitcher in the game, surpassing C.C. Sabathia. Also, the Dodgers have become the biggest spenders in baseball, surpassing the Yankees. It’s the first time since 1998 that the Yanks will not be the team with the highest payroll.
